1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is the operator of Casa di Mary — Luxury Apartment, with registered address in Via Sbarre Inferiori, 89129 Reggio Calabria (RC), Italy.
2. Data collected and processing purposes
2.1 Booking form
When you fill in the availability request form in the "Contact" section, the data you enter (name, e-mail, phone, check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, optional message and selected experience type) is not stored on this site. When you click the "Send request via WhatsApp" button, your browser opens the WhatsApp application with a pre-filled message containing this data.
The actual sending of the message only happens if you confirm it yourself from the WhatsApp interface. From that moment on, the message and your personal data are processed according to the Privacy Policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., an autonomous controller for the messaging platform.
The controller of Casa di Mary processes the data received via WhatsApp (or by direct e-mail to casadimaryrc@gmail.com) for the following purposes:
- Reply to your availability request and provide information about the stay (legal basis: art. 6.1.b GDPR — pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request).
- Manage any booking, check-in and legal obligations (art. 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR — contractual and legal obligations, including communication to public security authorities under art. 109 TULPS).
2.2 Technical cookies
The site uses technical cookies and localStorage to remember your preference regarding third-party cookies consent. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to the controller. For more details see the Cookie Policy.
2.3 Third-party services
The main page may load, only with your consent, a map provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). Activating the map results in the transfer of your IP address and other browsing data to Google, which may transfer it outside the European Union based on Standard Contractual Clauses. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Loading happens via CDN and may involve the recording of your IP address by Google according to its own policies.
3. Data retention
- WhatsApp messages received are stored for the time necessary to handle the request and any related stay, and subsequently for the time required by legal obligations (e.g. tax and public security: 10 years).
- Cookie preferences remain in your device's localStorage until you manually delete them or revoke them via the banner.

You may exercise the rights set out in articles 15-22 of the GDPR at any time:
